How to update your policy
- Add the sample language to your Privacy Policy (and Marketing/Communications section if applicable).
- Include the AI voice disclosure language about automated sales systems using artificial intelligence technology.
- Add consent collection language for AI-generated voice calls and automated telephone dialing systems.
- Include opt-out provisions with specific methods for revoking consent for AI calls.
- Specify data retention periods for call recordings and customer preference data (up to 7 years).
- Include the opt-out link: https://app.retention.com/optout.
- Ensure your cookie notice references marketing and analytics vendors, where applicable.
- Have your legal team review and adapt the language to your jurisdiction and practices.
Sample language for your privacy policy
For incorporating TechCatsLabs activity into your privacy policy, here is an example:
When you visit or log in to our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email or home address. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these email or phone numbers. Our automated sales system uses artificial intelligence technology to generate human-like voice interactions. By providing consent, you acknowledge and agree to receive calls that may use AI-generated voices. You expressly consent to receive marketing calls from TechCats Labs using automated telephone dialing systems and/or artificial or prerecorded voices, including AI-generated voices, at the telephone number provided. You understand that consent is not required as a condition of purchase. You may revoke consent at any time by contacting us at founder@techcatslabs.com or using the opt-out methods provided in our communications. We will honor your request within 30 days and maintain records of your preference for at least 5 years. You may opt out of receiving this advertising by visiting https://app.retention.com/optout
